Kings lose to the Clippers at home. Should of seen it coming!

It has been that kind of year for the Sacramento Kings! In their last game against one of the best teams in the NBA, the Phoenix Suns, they get a huge win! I just knew they would go out and lay an egg against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers snapped a 17 game losing streak at Arco Arena. The Kings are now 30-41 and they might as well kiss their playoff chances good-bye! Looks like the NBA lottery for Sacramento for first time since 1998. Boy, how things have changed. I hope we can turn things around and be a solid team again. This sucks for all Kings' fans. Recap of the game below

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -A couple of former Sacramento Kings helped the Los Angeles Clippers finally win a game at Arco Arena.

Cuttino Mobley scored 26 points and teammate Jason Hart had a solid all-around game for the rejuvenated Clippers, who beat the Kings 105-101 Friday night for their first victory at Arco Arena in 10 years.

It was an important victory in an unlikely place for the Clippers, who are fighting for a playoff berth in the Western Conference. They snapped a 17-game losing streak in Sacramento, dating to Nov. 7, 1997.

Hart, who rarely played this season with the Kings, then was released and signed by the Clippers earlier this month, was aware of the long losing streak.

"We took pride when I was here in beating the Clippers," said Hart, who had 16 points, seven assists and six rebounds. "Now I'm part of a Clippers team that finally won here. Definitely, this is special. I was the 15th man here and had no chance to play. I felt I could play here but didn't get the chance." More...

Maloofs, blow up the Kings..PLEASE!

The Sacramento Kings reached the lowest of lows when they lost to the garbage Atlanta Hawks a few nights back. In fact, the Kings got spanked! My question is: Are the Kings really this bad??!! Eric Musselman has NOT been the answer for this team. I know hindsight is 20/20. but the Kings were better off with Rick Adelman as their head coach. First off, before the season even started, Musselman was charged with a DUI. What example doeas that set for the team? Now, Ron Artest is back to his "Bad Boy" self with the domestic violence charge. Here is a solution.....break up the Sacramento Kings! If the Maloof brothers are reading this blog, which I doubt, listen up, please! Get rid of everybody except Kevin Martin! That means Mike Bibby, Ron Artest, etc. I don't care how you do it. Just do it! All these players care about right now is pulling a pay check. They play with NO pride or drive. As a life-long Kings' fan, it is really sad to see this team bring back memories of the 1980's when they stunk every year! My theory is if something is blowing up in your face.....finish blowing it up. Even if the Kings somehow perform a miracle and make the playoffs this year what good will it do? They will get bounced in the first round because the West is loaded. Heck, even the East teams could bounce the Kings at this point! Somewhere, Vlade Divac is rolling over in his grave.

What's in it for Ron Ron to ditch his anger, By Rhondda Nunes.

We can all see the obvious things...Ron Artest needs to cut it our before he harms himself or those he's encharged to protect.But after re-reading
Eric Adelson's article "Scary Good":
I can see what's in it for Ron Ron.As he told a therapist;"I'm spoiled....I want things my way. Basketball has allways been something I felt I could dominate--something I could control."

Indeed. And getting things your way all the time certainly puts one in control doesn't it?Ron Ron's anger gives him edge on the court. Makes him desirous of keeping out an opponent's garbage. The more frustrated he gets, the harder he plays. Good for him.

But getting rid of the anger wouldn't just benefit his personal life and lower his stress levels. Getting rid of the hold frustration has on him could also make him a better baller and really put his soul in control.

How?Because the root of anger springing from frustration is impatience.The world viewed this way appears to be a world that needs to be controlled; to be forced into submission for one's peace of mind. When the external world cannot be corraled this way rage springs forth proportionally in reaction. So is the law of physics as well as karma.This creates the escalation of frustration not just in the angry person but contaminates his surroundings as well, breeding more frustration.

To just give it up, to refuse to not be "spoiled", wouldn't just help Ron Artest. It would benefit his wife, his chidren and the Kings. A less frustrated Ron Ron wouldn't have to take everything on himself.By allowing what 'is' to be, to surrender to patience; allows you to take what the defense gives you. This would create more opportunities for his teammates as well as for him.

And more opportunities for him in the rest of his life. More opportunities for those that love him. He just has to be brave enough to make the choice.
